Pars Financial

Mr. Mashallah Afshar is a co-owner and founder of Pars Financial. He is a Certified Tax Resolution Specialist, E.A. (Enrolled to Practice before the Internal Revenue Services), and holds an MBA Degree. He studied and worked in Iran for the prestigious National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC), one of the best government organizations in the country, as a quantitative oil processor/controller/accountant for over 14 years. In 1976, Mr. Afshar moved to the US, completed his Master’s, and started working at an Oil Company in Dallas. His sheer dedication and hard work made him the Controlled and Credit Manager for Texaco Distribution Tank Farm Operation.

In 1980, he established Pars Financial and Tax Services. For the last 42 years, Pars Financial has helped over 500 business and personal clients. He is a Certified Tax Resolution Specialist and an IRS enrolled agent. He has specialized in Tax emergencies and Tax Planning.

For the first 20 years, Mr. Afshar’s wife, Ms. Gity has also actively worked for Pars Financial. She was instrumental and crucial to the company growing success. She graduated from San Diego State University (SDSU) as an Interior Designer.

Currently, they live in San Diego County together with their three children: Pouya, Payam, and Kimeya, as well as 9 grandchildren.

Mr. Afshar is a Member of the American Society of Tax Problem Solvers, and the California Society of Enrolled Agents.
He has a deep passion for marathon running, photography, and helping clients resolve their tax issues.
