Karimian Law Group

Attorney and Founder of Karimian Law Group, Shahin Shawn Karimian was raised in Los Angeles, California. He attended Montclair Preparatory School on an athletic scholarship for soccer. He was also a member of the football and basketball teams. After graduating from El Camino Real High School in Woodland Hills, California in 2002, he attended the University of California, Riverside before transferring and graduating from California State University, Northridge with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy. Mr. Karimian received Dean’s List honors while also being an active member of the university community.

Mr. Karimian graduated from Whittier Law School in 2010 with a J. D. degree and a certification in Intellectual Property. While in law school, Mr. Karimian was a dedicated student and was instrumental in the creation of a number of organizations such as the Whittier Law Intramural Club, Middle Eastern Law Student Association, and the Criminal Law Society. In addition to serving on the board of various organizations, Shawn was a member and officer of Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity, the Iranian Law Student Association, Entertainment and Sports Law Society, and the Center for Intellectual Property Law.

Mr. Karimian began his legal career practicing criminal defense appellate matters and contract review at Agajanian, McFall, Weiss, Tetreault, & Crist, LLP in 2009. He added to his legal experience while working with the Kazerouni Law Group, APC, in areas ranging from unfair debt collection cases to personal injury claims. He has also independently worked with a number of attorneys and businesses in various matters such as contract drafting and review, negotiation, and various corporate business matters.

He founded The Karimian Law Group in 2012 based on the principle that all clients are individually valued and of importance. Mr. Karimian wanted a law firm where all clients could have trust, faith, and confidence in their legal matter and legal representation. Over some years of successful practice, Mr. Karimian has gained invaluable experience in Family Law, Business Law, Intellectual Property Law, Eviction Law, Criminal Law, Personal Injury Law, and Civil Litigation.

Currently, Mr. Karimian’s focus is on Personal Injury Law and Business Law (including entity formation, acquisition, and mergers; and Intellectual Property matters from trademark and copyright establishment to litigation matters with the United States Patent and Trademark Office.) Mr. Karimian has been and continues to be counsel for multi-million dollar companies, including medical corporations, surgery centers, tech companies, clothing lines, luxury magazines, Olympic athletes, and world famous creative artists. Mr. Karimian is also a licensed mediator. He is trained in facilitative and evaluative mediation ranging in different civil matters.
