Hamid Eskandari

Dr. Hamid Eskandari MD was born and raised in Tehran, Iran. While studying medicine in Iran, he decided to continue his education in the United States of America. In the year of 2008, he got his specialty in Family Medicine from the University of Medicine and Dentistry in New Jersey and then decided to move to the remarkably beautiful Orange County, CA.
In California he decided to sub- specialize in Geriatrics Medicine at Kaiser Permanente to start helping older population as well.
Dr. Eskandari started his practice “Shafa Medical Center Inc.’ in 2010. He works in his office as a Primary Care Physician as he had always dreamt about. He also continues to work as a Geriatrician.  He takes care of patients in subacute rehab and nursing homes.
Dr. Eskandari is one of the only few doctors who sees patients at nursing home or the patients’ house and is involve in the care of Home Bound and Hospice patients.
Dr. Eskandari is the Medical Director for Lake Forest Nursing and rehab Center, alongside being the Medical Director for Hospice Touch which is a Hospice Company that takes care of the patients in last 6 months of their lives alongside, as well as the Medical Director of Unified Care Provider that is a home health company where they have visiting nurse and physical therapist to take care of the patients at home.
Dr Eskandari also speaks English and Farsi fluently, which allows him the ability to comfortably speak to and understand the needs of all of his patients.
