Dr. Amir Kohan graduated from UCLA in 2005 with high honors, having earned two Bachelor of Arts degrees in Political Science and Sociology. Dr. Kohan’s undergraduate background gave him a platform of understanding the economics behind social policies, such as insurance, and how strongly a sense of community impacts a society. As a strong proponent of his community, Dr. Kohan decided to pursue a career in pharmacy to further his involvement and contribution to communities everywhere. By 2010, Dr. Kohan earned a Doctorate in Pharmacology degree from Western University of Health Sciences. After graduation, Dr. Kohan became involved and active in the San Fernando Valley as an avid researcher and compassionate member of society. His socioeconomic studies of his community have allowed him to serve his patients with the care and attentiveness they deserve.
