Azita Ghafourpour, J.D., is a former senior trial attorney from the San Francisco Office of the Public Defender. She has spent the majority of her career advocating for those struggling with mental illness, homelessness, complex trauma, and addiction. Azita has extensive experience collaborating with a diverse group of government agencies and non-profit organizations to address the needs of marginalized individuals. She is passionate about social justice and community based development, particularly in communities with vulnerable populations. Azita is dedicated to ensuring quality mental health services are affordable and accessible to all of those in need.
