David M. Haghighi, Esq.

Mr. Haghighi is a Certified Specialist in Immigration & Nationality Law by the State Bar of California Board of Legal Specialization. As an Iranian Jew, he came to the United States 40 years ago, fleeing persecution. He was granted asylum status allowing him to safely stay in the United States and obtain all the benefits this beautiful country has to offer.

Mr. Haghighi has made it his life’s mission to help others from all walks of life fleeing persecution, want a new start in this country or have come to this land seeking the American dream. During the last 18+ years, Mr. Haghighi has consistently traveled all over the United States, defending his clients from deportation and removal in various immigration courts, whether in detained or non-detained settings. He has successfully represented thousands of clients before the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS), Executive Office for Immigration Review (EOIR), the Board of Immigration Appeals (BIA), and various United States Circuit Court of Appeals, legitimatizing their status here, allowing his clients to live and work in the United States.

Mr. Haghighi received his undergraduate degree from UCLA and his law degree from Southwestern University School of Law. During law school, Mr. Haghighi extern for the Honorable Alan M. Ahart, United States District Court, Central District, California.

As a lawyer and advocate, Mr. Haghighi has learned that not everybody succeeds.
