Daniel Niku, MD, MS

Daniel Niku, MD, MS, is a dedicated obstetrician and gynecologist who works as a healthcare partner and patient advocate, providing integrative care that supports every aspect of women’s health through all phases of their lives. At his private practice in Beverly Hills, California, Dr. Niku has purposefully created a comfortable environment that embraces conversation and education, with the goal of empowering his patients with information so they can participate in their health care.

Dr. Niku received his undergraduate degree from the University of Southern California (USC) in Los Angeles, California, graduating with a major in psychology and a minor in business. He stayed in Los Angeles and entered the Keck School of Medicine, where he graduated a year later with a Master of Science in Global Medicine.

While studying abroad and earning his medical degree from St. George’s University (SGU) School of Medicine in True Blue, Grenada, Dr. Niku taught his peers the fundamentals of medicine. He also became active in a program that brought community members together with burgeoning physicians.

During his time at SGU, he found his passion for obstetrics and gynecology, a field that combines his interest in hands-on patient care with long-term patient growth and well-being. He graduated cum laude from SGU in 2015.

Dr. Niku finished his residency training in obstetrics and gynecology at Staten Island University Hospital, part of Northwell Health in Staten Island, New York. He was twice recognized and awarded as the top student educator. His patients, colleagues, and mentors recognized his medical knowledge and skills, and also valued his constant presence as an educator and patient advocate.

Dr. Niku is at his best when teaching patients and engaging students in better understanding health promotion and disease prevention. One way he stays engaged is through his interactive blog that focuses on women’s health, including obstetrical and gynecological care.
