As an immigrant myself, I remember constantly worrying about how my lack of legal status in the U.S. was going to affect me and my future. Gaining my permanent residency and subsequently, my U.S. citizenship was one of the happiest moments in my life because I knew my future in this amazing country was secure. My passion is to bring my clients the same sense of joy and relief.
This passion was realized once I began working as a paralegal in an immigration firm. Being able to help people come to the U.S. and seeing how much it meant to them was so rewarding, and it reminded me of my own struggle. This motivated me to obtain my law degree in order to be able to advocate for people who want to come to the U.S. and want to explore their options.
